Cookie Policy

What cookies and browser storage we use, why we use them, and how you can change your choice at any time.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way. They help a site remember that you are signed in or that you have already made a choice, and they can help measure how a site is used.

2. Our approach

We keep this to a minimum. This portal uses the cookies needed to sign you in and keep it secure, a few entries that remember your preferences, and — only with your consent — optional measurement of how the portal is used. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build profiles of you across other websites, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.

3. The cookies and storage we use

  • Sign-in session — keeps you logged in while you move between pages. Essential. Lasts until you sign out or the session expires.
  • Security and fraud-prevention tokens — protect forms and stop unauthorised requests. Essential. Session based.
  • Cookie choice (omari-cookie-consent) — remembers whether you accepted optional cookies, so we do not ask on every visit. Essential. Kept in your browser for twelve months.
  • Registration draft (omari-affiliate-registration-draft) — saves your progress in the sign-up form so an interrupted registration can be resumed. Functional. Kept in your browser until you submit, or until you clear it. Your account number is never saved here.
  • Display preference — remembers whether you chose the light or dark interface. Functional. Kept in your browser until you change it.
  • Usage measurement — records which pages are visited and when, in aggregate, so we can see what is useful and fix what is not. Optional, set only with your consent. Retained for up to twelve months.

4. Cookies set by other services

Some parts of the portal hand you over to another service. When you open a Paystack, Flutterwave or Squad payment page, those providers set their own cookies under their own policies. The same applies when you follow a WhatsApp link: Meta then handles that interaction. We do not control those cookies, so please check the relevant provider's policy.

5. Your choice

When you first arrive on the affiliate join page, a banner asks whether you accept optional cookies. Choosing "Essential only" leaves you with everything needed to sign in, register and be paid; you simply opt out of usage measurement. The banner does not interrupt the signed-in portal. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which reopens it. Refusing optional cookies does not restrict any feature of the programme.

6. Controlling cookies in your browser

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop you signing in to the portal, so you would need to contact us on WhatsApp for anything account related. Your browser's help pages explain how to manage cookies for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.

7. Do Not Track

Because optional measurement only runs after you accept it, we treat your choice on our banner as your preference and do not run additional tracking regardless of browser signals.

8. Changes to this policy

If we add or remove a cookie we will update the list above and the date at the top of this page. Where a new optional cookie is introduced we will ask for your consent again.
